It’s a flash based isometric sci-fi RTS, the logical progression from games like oGame.

It’s a rather simplistic game on first and probably even second look, but there are some intricacies to be found (and exploited ). Thus far I’ve progressed along fairly nicely and truly like the game.

The game itself is entirely free but you can purchase ‘mall points’ for real currency and use these MPs to get items via the in game shop. All of these items can be acquired through other means as well and even MPs can be got through free-point offers. (These result in spam mails or subscriptions or stuff, but if you are careful you can get quite some points for free – got about 400 points this way by now ^^)

The primary fun factor for me probably isn’t the game itself (which is nice but nowhere near exceptional ^^) but the part of the community I found and ended up being part of.

Check the game out either on Facebook or directly via the igg homepage.

Hi out there!

Today I had some time to kill due to having been early on an appointment and could thus do some of the stuff I usually end up ‘doing tomorrow’ if you get my meaning ^^. So, after some light research, I managed to finally update this WordPress template in order to list bost posts and pages in it’s menu.

It may be a bit confusing having no visual differentiation between the two but for now I’m quite satisfied to get rid of the akward widget on the right (which contained the pages-menu). If you have any suggestions of how I could improve uppon this – or any other part of my homepage for that matter – please don’t hesitate to comment ^^

While I were at it I’ve also updated/edited a couple of other sections (primarily the header) of this template. The result is now conciderably closer to the page I want. Please tell me what you think about the overall changes.

During the last few weeks I became (once again) increasingly interested in the “survival topic”. Thus I started to assemble a list of items I deem useful and/or necessary to survive in the wilderness or any other (half-way probable) survival situation.

Eventually I’d like to have three different Survival-Packs. A small one to be worn on the belt, a medium one fitting into a backpack and a large one which could as well be called a survival stash rather than survival pack to be kept in a locker at home. The small one consists only of the absolut minimum and is intended to be kept along (almost) always. The medium sized one, which could be called camping gear, packs everything needed if one intents or fears entering a survival situation on foot. The last and largest one is meant as precaution against natural disasters and contains mainly food and (clean) water.

For now though I only intend to finish the smallest of these and get some of the stuff for a regular camping trip.
The exact content of these packs will be assembled through research into (m-)any survival resource I can lay my hands on and deem ‘honestly useful’. (Thus far this is limited to one apparently good survival homepage and the US Army Survival Handbook)

You can view the raw materials for the smallest pack on my amazon.de wish-list.

While updating my amazon wish-list with these new items I also cleared out no longer required items and added a couple of other items I deemed desirable and useful.
You can see the completely updated wish lists on my profile page.

Hi,

it’s been quite some time since my last post so you might want to read about what happened since then. I regretfully inform you that as good as nothing of importance has happened.

There were a few things I might get into later on, but for now the most important things is probably the release of my profile page as well as the first version of my wishlist.

Since my birthday is approaching fast and I somewhat neglected to tell my family and friends in which ways they can be good to me it seemed like a good idea to put some work into these two areas. ^^

Well, here they are. Feel free to comment right on this blog or mail me if you have any questions.

MfG

Hi out there!

When working on this page I first had some trouble to find a way to use both pages (which are more or less static and statically linked) and posts (which are each static but dynamically linked). Now I found my way of dealing and using both of these. Well, that’s the reason for me editing this post ^^.

I’ve added a section for my most recent project: Fleet Wars. You can find it either on the very top or in the third widget on the right under pages. In the menu bar above the content and the widget (but below the uppermost block) you’ll find my post categories and within each section all posts I made in that category. So don’t confuse them ^^
